SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: Heather Lewis was arrested today on the charge of possession of stolen property. The stolen property that was recovered is from a burglary that occurred in June, 2012. Lewis was cited and released with a court appearance date of 8/21/12 at the Windsor County Superior Court- Criminal Division.

She was NOT arrested today…she was asked to pick up a citation for an earlier infraction and willingly went in to get it. Please get your facts straight.

This is a verbatim reprint of a Hartford Police Report. We assume police have their facts straight when they issue a release. If this is not the case we appreciate the clarification. However any errors need to be taken up with Hartford Police.
